Theft is the misappropriation or taking of anything of value which belongs to another, without the consent of the other or by means of fraudulent conduct, practices, or representations.
“Anything of value” must be given the broadest possible meaning, including any conceivable thing of the slightest value. The phrase must be construed in the broad popular sense of the phrase, not necessarily synonymous with the legal term property.
Simple criminal damage to property is the intentional damaging of any property, without the consent of the owner, by means other than fire or explosion.
Aggravated criminal damage to property is the intentional damaging of any structure, water craft or movable wherein it is foreseeable that human life might be endangered, by and means other than fire or explosion.
