Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
It is unlawful for any person knowingly and intentionally to possess a controlled dangerous substance. In order to be convicted of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the state must prove defendant knowingly and intentionally possessed a substance which is a controlled dangerous substance.
Possession with the intent to distribute
It is unlawful for any person knowingly and intentionally to possess a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute the controlled dangerous substance. Distribute means to deliver, whether by physical delivery. administering, or subterfuge.
Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substances
It is unlawful for any person knowingly and intentionally to produce, manufacture, distribute, or possess with intent to produce, manufacture, or distribute, possess a material, compound, mixture, or preparation intended for human consumption which contains a a controlled dangerous substance.
Distribute means to sell, lease, rent, barter, trade, furnish, supply, or otherwise transfer in exchange for anything of value a material, compound, mixture, or preparation intended for human consumption which contains a controlled dangerous substance.
Manufacture means the production, preparation, propagation, compounding, or processing of a material, compound, mixture, or preparation intended for human consumption which contains a controlled dangerous substance either directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of natural origin, or independently by means of chemical synthesis, or by combination of extraction and chemical synthesis.
